FOUNDERS

Blanca Acosta founded the Peter Pan Child Care & Learning Center in 1996. She has been serving and educating the local community for 26 years. She was inspired by her love of children and Operation Peter Pan (1960-1962). She felt morally obligated to assist as many orphans as possible. She succeeded in providing education and a safe haven for hundreds of Cuban children and their families.

She continues to educate the community, specializing in creating individual education plans that fit every child's unique abilities. She also encourages inclusion of all students regardless of their background. Blanca is an example of a loving teacher who has taught many life lessons inside and outside of the classroom.
