FOUNDERS
Founders Blanca and Rafael Acosta
Blanca Acosta founded the Peter Pan Child Care & Learning Center in 1996. She has been serving and educating the local community for 26 years. She was inspired by her love of children and Operation Peter Pan (1960-1962). She felt morally obligated to assist as many orphans as possible. She succeeded in providing education and a safe haven for hundreds of Cuban children and their families.
She continues to educate the community, specializing in creating individual education plans that fit every child’s unique abilities. She also encourages inclusion of all students regardless of their background. Blanca is an example of a loving teacher who has taught many life lessons inside and outside of the classroom.
ABOUT US
Our Mission

Our mission is: “To provide a personal safe learning environment inclusive to all students”.
We understand every child has unique abilities and learns at a different pace which is why we work closely with the parents to ensure the optimal environment for growth.
We encourage additional therapies to take place in the classroom such as: Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Behavioral (ABA) Therapy. This allows the therapist and teacher to work alongside one another and the student to ensure the best learning experience.
